Just a few pictures from the past few months of Ella "reading." She seems to really love books. Mimi loves to look at books with Ella. She usually crosses her legs when she's "reading."In the morning when she wakes up, the first thing she usually picks up by her toy basket is a book. She loves to study the pictures and colors and points to things. It's so funny because I'll be in the kitchen washing dishes or something and I'll watch her study a book or turn the pages for 5 or 10 minutes at a time-totally entertaining herself! Sometimes I'll try to go over and read with her but she wants nothing of it. She wants to investigate by herself. Other times she wants me to read to her. Another little funny is when she's in the bathtub reading. She has a tubtime book that she looks at while I give her a bath. Sometimes I just have to step back and watch. She sits in her bath sling, so she doesn't slip and slide, crosses her legs and holds the book up like she's reading the paper. It's too cute! Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of that. Hopefully, she'll continue to love books and maybe even read early!!? TTFN
