Ella's 1st Birthday!

I can't believe that a year has come and gone. Our baby girl is one year old!

We celebrated Ella's birthday with family and friends. Even Ella's Nana from Missouri came for the special occasion. Ella had lots of fun!
Ella loved playing in the cake. She went right for it and then put on the brakes. She seemed suprised that it was mushy. After the first few initial smashes, she plowed right into it again. She didn't really want to taste it. We had to show her that she could put it in her mouth. You would think she'd like the sweet taste, but it didn't seem to interest her much. She just wanted to make a mess of it...and that's what she did.

After presents, cake and icecream, we had fun in the pool!!!
