Hello!

Better late than never. We've been keeping pretty busy around here. Christmas was fun and a crazy time of year as usual. We have lots of birthdays in December and family traveling, etc. We went to Missouri for Christmas this year. Ella played with all her cousins and had quite a time. She didn't get to see snow though. Maybe next year. She did pretty good on the plane, but it was a long time for a one year old to sit.

She is growing up pretty fast. She's 17 months now and so sweet. She still doesn't have many teeth for her age. She has another 4 coming through. That only makes 8. She loves to give hugs and kisses, read books and play outside and watch for airplanes. She can barely hear one and she's pointing and searching for it. She loves to play on this toy zebra that my parents got her for Christmas. She bounces up and down so fast, she looks like she's going to bounce right off. It's so funny! She has so much personality and is so entertaining. Apparently, she gets her eye rolling from me. My mom said I did that when I was her age. She's saying a few words and using sign language for a few words. My next break is spring break. I can't wait. Jake keeps pretty busy at work. They just won a new contract so he should be busy for a while. My mom still watches Ella during the week while I'm at work. They have a lot of fun together. We appreciate that my mom is doing this for us. Hopefully it won't be much longer and I'll be off with another baby??!
